WIE ZIJN WIJ?
Een winkeltje in brocante en vintage, genaamd Broekente brocante & Vintage? Hoezo BrOEKENte??
Onze winkel is gesitueerd in OEKEN, een mooi buurtschap in de gemeente Brummen.
Wij, Gemmie en Arno, zijn fanatieke speurders in kringlopen en op vlooien- en snuffelmarkten in binnen- en buitenland.
Toen wij, met onze drie kinderen en dieren, in 2019 verhuisden van Noord Holland naar de Veluwe, nam het verzamelen steeds serieuzere vormen aan. Onze hobby liep, zoals gezegd, behoorlijk uit de hand.
Zo ontstond het idee! In 2020 hebben wij ons fietsenschuurtje omgetoverd tot museumpje waar je de museumstukken kunt kopen ! En zoals dat gaat, het fietsenschuurtje werd te klein. Zelfs het plafond moest benut worden en de aangrenzende carport werd erbij getrokken en vol gezet met allerlei mooie vondsten.
Sinds augustus 2023 is de winkel praktisch 7 dagen in de week geopend. En twee maanden later openden we deze webshop! Inmiddels worden we steeds meer ontdekt en versturen we zelfs wereldwijd !!
In het voorjaar van 2025 is de winkel vergroot door de carport bij de winkel te betrekken. Deze ruimte gebruikten wij altijd al door s'morgens veel buiten te zetten en s'avonds weer alles naar binnen.....
Maar wat een verbetering die verbouwing !! Via twee openslaande deuren kom je nu in onze Vintage en Retro ruimte. En dan aan de rechterkant een doorgang naar de aparte ruimte voor Brocante en Antiek.
Wel zo overzichtelijk :0))
Wij hebben beide een passie voor (vintage) keramiek en met name East and West Germany. En dát is te merken als je de winkel binnen loopt.
Maar er is nog veel meer! Bij Broekente Brocante tref je een leuke mix aan items uit vroeger tijden'. Neem een kijkje in onze webshop of kom gezellig langs in Oeken ! Zetten wij een lekker kopje koffie of thee voor je !
En p.s. wil je besparen op de verzendkosten? Bij ons mag je ook producten opsparen ! Laat ons dat even weten via de mail of in het betaalformulier, dan zetten we het product voor je weg.

WHO ARE WE?
A shop in brocante and vintage , called Broekente brocante & Vintage? Why BrOEKENte??
Our shop is located in OEKEN, a beautiful hamlet in the municipality of Brummen.
We, Gemmie and Arno, are fanatic explorers in thrift shops and flea markets in the Netherlands and abroad.
In the year 2019 we moved from the North of Holland to the Veluwe (Gelderland NL) with our three children and animals.
Before moving, we were collecting as a hobby , but in Brummen it became increasingly serious.
That's how the idea came about! In 2020 we transformed our bicycle shed into a small museum where you can buy the museum pieces! And as it goes, the bicycle shed became too small. Even the ceiling had to be used and the adjacent carport was pulled in and filled with all kinds of beautiful finds.
Since August 2023, the store has been open practically 7 days a week. And two months later we opened this webshop! In the meantime, we are being discovered more and more and we even ship worldwide!!
In the spring of 2025, the store was expanded by incorporating the carport into the store. We always used this space by putting a lot outside in the morning and bringing everything back inside in the evening.....
But what an improvement that renovation is!! Through two French doors you now enter our Vintage and Retro space. And then on the right a passage to the separate space for Brocante and Antiques.
Much better :0))
We both have a passion for (vintage) ceramics and especially West and East Germany. You can tell when you walk into the store.
But there is so much more! At Broekente Brocante you will find a nice mix of items from the past. Take a look in our webshop or come and visit us in Oeken! We will make you a nice cup of coffee or tea!
And p.s. do you want to save on shipping costs? You can also save items with us! Let us know by email or in the payment section, then we will put the product away for you untill you think it will be enough to send .
